The challenge
The Oculus is Warwick's dedicated teaching and learning building, hosting lectures, student-led events and community events. Any presenter, with any background and any device, has to get content on the display without help.
The deployment
Every learning space shipped with Solstice as the wireless presentation layer, from touch-enabled screens in small rooms to the four-screen atrium video wall. The app is uniform across devices with the same point-and-drag interface as other mobile apps, and IT Services attributes quick adoption partly to that familiarity.
The outcome
Solstice acts as a communication platform for the whole room rather than a cable replacement. Calendar integration ties on-screen schedule information into the availability screens outside each room through the API, with no additional hardware.
