The Mersive team is freshly back from InfoComm 2018 in Las Vegas, and we’re excited to announce that Solstice took home two top industry awards, Installation Magazine’s Best of Show Award and Commercial Integrator’s Top Collaboration Product Award.
So what made Solstice award-worthy this year? Its ability to make meetings more engaging and productive by eliminating the use of awkward cables and dongles, allowing any device to connect, and providing the best streaming quality possible. On top of these features, and the ability to deploy and manage the product at scale using dual-NIC for network security and an enterprise dashboard for centralized management make the provisioning, management, and security scalable.
Solstice consistently has award-winning features because it is a software platform under the hood, which allows us to respond swiftly to feedback. We listen to customer feedback continuously and use it to fuel our innovation and roadmap. So, thank you to our customers for partnering with us to make Solstice an award-worthy platform!
Winning product awards for Solstice is always exciting for us here at Mersive, and we like to think it’s a product of our culture (and track record) of innovation. In case you missed the event, some of the new Solstice developments that we showcased at InfoComm this year include:
- Solstice Cloud deployment monitoring and meeting analytics engine that allows management to see how the pods are being used, how long meetings last, devices connected / sharing content, and more.
- Preview of HTML5 digital signage that allows for a more engaging home screen to convey important corporate or departmental messaging, data, or videos when the pod is not sharing user-specific content.
- Preview of our first annotation feature which allows one or multiple users to annotate on-screen wirelessly using their smartphone making meetings more convenient and engaging and collaborative.
- Solstice version 3.3 which is our most enterprise-ready release ever with dozens of features ready to use and more support on multiple systems than ever before.
This year winning the awards was a little extra special. The market demand for wireless presentation and collaboration products is growing rapidly which means the level of competition has also increased. While some of our bigger competitors can certainly outspend us when it comes to marketing, industry-recognized product awards level the playing field and provide an objective view of the best products available in market.
The 2018 show was record setting for both InfoComm and Mersive. More people attended the Las Vegas event than ever, and more people visited the Mersive booth than any event in our history. Thanks to all those who joined us at InfoComm to meet the Mersive team and see the latest Solstice developments. Now it’s back to work on driving the highest levels of customer satisfaction, listening to customer feedback, and delivering new innovative features and products to the market. With some hard work and a little luck, we hope to report back in a year with another set of awards.
